Hotdog and fries were perfect! Service was great. Limited menu and seating compared to the location across the street. There was no francesinha when we came, only at the other location. Something to keep in mind or ask about before you line up if that’s what you’re going for.

Really good food. There is usually a waiting line but the service is fast. I recommend to go alone or in a pair, as there is not a lot of space for groups. They have another bigger newer place close by that works better for groups.

I had so much fun eating here. Fantastic food, atmosphere and team. Recommend sitting at the bar near the chef so you can watch him weave his magic. Icy cold beers with cheesy hot dogs and steak/ham/cheese/egg sandwiches. The best.

Gazela is a must-try spot for sandwiches done right. We tried several options: • The famous traditional hot dog – simple, crispy, and packed with flavor. • The ham and cheese sandwich – incredibly basic but unbelievably good. Sometimes the simplest things are the most satisfying. • The steak and cheese sandwich – juicy and flavorful. • And finally, the steak, cheese, ham, and sausage sandwich – a rich and indulgent bite for those who want it all. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed watching the team in action as they prepared the sandwiches with precision and energy. The vibe was great, and the entire staff had a genuinely positive attitude. Exceptional sandwiches and a welcoming atmosphere – Gazela is highly recommended!

It's an explosion of flavor that demands to be eaten in multiple rounds. ​Beyond the food, the experience is defined by efficiency and value. The service is incredibly fast. Whether the place is packed or quiet, your beer and cachorrinho hit the counter almost instantly. This rapid-fire service is matched only by the cheap prices. You can enjoy an amazing meal and several rounds of drinks without making a dent in your wallet. Speaking of drinks, the good beer on tap is fresh, cold, and the essential complement to the spicy, savory hot dogs. ​Gazela is a testament to how simple things done right can become legendary. On our first day in Porto, we went to Gazela for lunch to try their famous cachorrinhos, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We paired them with a Super Bock and it was the perfect combo. The meal was really good and surprisingly filling. The fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, which was a pleasant surprise, and the cachorrinho itself was delicious with crispy, flavorful bread and just the right amount of sauce. We sat outside and there was a line the entire time, but the wait was only about 10 to 15 minutes and totally worth it. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Porto!

I did it! I finally tried the funky Portuguese “hotdog” everyone says you have to get when you come to Porto, and it absolutely delivered. I don’t even smoke anymore, but this is quintessential stoner food in the best possible way. Crispy fresh bread, thin meat, melty cheese, and that chili oil they brush over the top come together to make a half-baked masterpiece. Fresh fries on the side hit the spot too. The place had a lineup the moment it opened, so heads up — but it’s honestly great to see both the restaurant and this iconic snack so loved. Local fast food at its finest. Yum.

The atmosphere of the place was great. You can feel it as soon as you enter. The waiters helped me choose my order, which was the steak sandwich (11.5 euro) and the superbock beer(2.20 euro). I really liked it, except that the meat was not cooked the way I prefer — it was a bit undercooked for my taste. The place was full when I arrived, and there was a line when I left.
